The Loop Trail - Glacier N.P.

Goodbye chalet that drew us 8 miles over almost 4 hours. We enjoyed our lunch in your shelter and now we are off!

4 miles DOWNhill. (2200 ft elevation drop - oh, my knees!)

Down.

Down.

Down we go.

And 1hr40min later...

We made it. And sat to wait for the shuttle back to Apgar Campground.

The evening was again filled with thunder, lightning, and rain. But we were dry and cozy and filled our tummies with warm chili and rice. We even had a fire when there was a slight reprieve from the rain. 

Tomorrow we will see the village for a bit while Scott works then head out to the east side of the park.
