Mt Rushmore with the grandparents!

The Black Hills hosted is today as we explored. 

We passed a line of tractors on the way to Mt Rushmore.

Back in the visitor center we watched a nice video about the construction and explored the exhibit hall. The kids attempted to learn all they could about the project's history and participants for their jr ranger badge. This is school. 

Sy dances while waiting for us to finish lunch. It was cold and a bit rainy outside so he brought entertainment to all who were cooped up in the cafe. 

I knew Thomas Jefferson was my favorite - we have ice cream in common!
