Glacier National Park - Avalanche and Cedar Trails, Logan Pass

Last night we camped about a mile from the entrance to the park, with full hook ups. This morning, I drove into glacier about 6:30 AM to secure a camping spot for us since the campground has been filling up before 8 AM. We moved the trailer over, settled in for a few days, and hopped on the shuttle to go hiking.
The kids said it felt like the MRT in Singapore because we had to stand.
Our first trek was 2.3 miles to Avalanche Lake.
Ky kept finding trees like this to climb through, claiming they were transporting her to different worlds.
Avalanche Creek was beautiful.

If you look closely, you can see waterfalls coming down into the lake.
Jo & Kik have been bonding because they're the ones who can run ahead while Ky & Sy have to hang a bit closer to mom and dad.

Playing in the creek pronounced "crick" by the locals.
This 0.9 mile trail was very popular.

5.5 miles of hiking and we're ready for more!
We hopped on the shuttle to the pass, but by the time we got to the top to start hiking it was pouring rain and there was thunder and lightning.
At the top of Logan pass, both the Canadian and American flags fly as Glacier National Park is known as the International Peace Park with parts of the park in both countries.
