then visited the frontier museum. It was similar to a few other museums we've seen. Many antique items donated by a variety of long time residents documenting the area from the earliest settlers to the current time.
So while each is similar, they are also different because hey represent the region we are visiting.
The item that interested me most today was an "iron lung" used to treat polio patients in the mid-1900s.
Seeing the machine, pictures of people using it, and reading their stories made me grateful that polio has been more or less eradicated.
The museum also had an extensive library of really old books, which of course I loved.
When we got to the dinosaur museum, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a Museum presenting the dinosaurs from a biblical perspective. Unlike the creation Museum we visited in Santee, California over Easter 2015, this museum has a ton of fossils - so it is a bit different presentation. They have many really large skeletons many of which of been found here in Montana.
Working on more fossils in the lab.
Where dinosaurs have appeared in historical writings.
People prints alongside Dino tracks.
A quote that represents a theme we see when learning about the study of origins in Classical Conversations Challenge A.
