We would never have taken Sy on this trail before now.
We started the morning with the shuttle up to the top of Logan Pass.
We saw the cyclist on our way up and at the top, we were there to cheer him on as he finished the ascent. He was so thankful for our cheering.
Logan Pass is also on the continental divide. So if we fell to the west we'd end up in the Pacific and if we fell to the east we'd end up in the Atlantic.
The trail is basically a ledge hewn into the side of the mountain just below the continental divide line.
In addition to the bighorn sheep and goats that are found in abundance on the trail, we were told that yesterday fresh grizzly scat was found.
After the easy start, we spent about a half mile on the side of this rock wall holding onto a green cable.
In case you can't tell, we are walking on the trail with a steep drop to our left and a steep uphill to our right.
We came across so many beautiful waterfalls
and other amazing views.
... to be continued...
