Waco, Magnolia & the Silos - 3/7

This morning at a rest stop, we found this super huge moth and...
a geocache - in the middle of the forest behind the rest area!
Sy absolutely LOVES finding these geocaches, but often the others find it first because he takes a bit of information about the hiding spot and runs ahead so he can get it first, but doesn't have enough specific information to actually get it. Hopefully, someday soon he'll take the details along with the big picture and get one. (:
We were driving into Waco and saw a long line of people wrapped around the corner of a building.
That's when we realized we were at "the Silos" or Magnolia or Chip & Joanna's place. We decided to stop and have a look at the phenomena - and more because people have told me I look like Joanna and I was curious, less because we had any clue what was there (because we didn't).

Well, the kids had a blast in their "backyard".

Then we headed out of town to ride a bit on the Cottonbelt Trail.
The boys found 6 or 7 geocaches along the way.
After our ride we headed to our friends' home. We were supposed to arrive tomorrow, but they were gracious with us and welcomed us early. (:
