Philadelphia - day 1

Today we got to visit Independence Hall where Our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

We also had the privilege of seeing the real documents, under the protection of dark and argon gas and special glass etc, of course.

The Liberty Bell. And in the background the tower where it once hung.

We took a break at the end of the day from history and switched to science, specifically chemistry.
This museum was truly fascinated with all the inventions presented and the emphasis on the chemistry involved.

  1. That is so cool to know about the RV camping spots. I don't think I should have looked at all these this morning, bc now I am crying and missing you!! When you have seen all the capital buildings you could have your kids design their own with all their favorite elements from everything they've seen.

We have found some random clothing articles of your kids that I keep forgetting to tell you about. I can send you a picture if you want to see if you want me to ship them to you "General Delivery" or at Christmas.
It looks like you guys are having an amazing trip which makes me soooooo happy for you! ♥
