More Philadelphia

Penn's Landing, commemorating William Penn founding Pennsylvania, was our next stop.
There was very few people around as it was about 5pm. We planned to hang out for a bit to avoid evening traffic.
We were letting the kids climb about, checking out the battleship across the river, etc. We'd been there about 30 minutes when suddenly a police boat comes flying toward us with officers getting on wet suits. Officers in cars came along the walkway too. They had received a call about someone jumping (into the water). I told them we'd been here for a while and had not seen anyone jumping into the water but the kids and I had been walking along the wall (we're sitting on it in the picture below) and had been jumping across the openings. Maybe someone was reporting our hooligan-ism? We were jumping ON the walls though, not OFF the wall. /: oops.
They continued to search the water for a jumper as fire truck and ambulance and more police arrived. I continued to feel a little guilty for possibly causing the commotion. A passerby asked what was going on and I told her about the call. She said, "Well, this isn't the first time," and kept walking.

Sunset from the top of the parking garage.
We took the kids "home" and dropped them off with little Caesars. Then Scott and I went out on a date! Yay!
Super yummy restaurant called QuickFixx. And super fun times, just us adults. (:
