The Atlantic Ocean! And lighthouses!

Today it's official... Coast to coast!
Saxon math is better with a beautiful backdrop of changing leaves! How can he concentrate?!?
The other 1. Who knew PCH had an Atlantic coast counterpart?
Damariscotta Pumpkinfest and Regatta

These are all pumpkins! There were so many it was hard to pick these 3 photos.
The Pemaquid Point light house! This is the one on the Maine quarter.
A little orientation before we climb up.
Here we go.
Kik next to a 4th order Fresnel lens.
At the recommendation of a lighthouse docent... Maine lobster!
We got to pick a lobster.
And we chose this one - just kidding. (:
Wow! What a meal.
We decided to try hard shell and soft shell and lobster rolls. Everybody got to sample all of it. We had a couple lobster lovers and a couple of people who were extremely happy there was chicken in the crockpot back "home".
The neighboring tablemates were amazed at Kik's technique of pulling the meat of the lobster tail out whole.
At New Harbor off Muscongus Sound.
