Freedom Trail - part 4


We finally made it to Bunkerhill, and to the end of the Freedom Trail.




I am feeling the burn.
Beautiful views from the top of Bunker Hill. Out this window we could see the ships at the right, the USS Constitution and the USS Cassin Young, that we had been on earlier today.

And everyone successfully finished their Junior Ranger program.

    So glad to see you didn't fall down the hole in the center of the Bunker Hill Monument! I had a major meltdown up there knowing the only thing between my kids and a huge drop was that flimsy grate they have over the opening. I actually started hyperventilating and had to leave! It's so fun to see you doing all the Boston things!

      It was pretty crazy because there were so many people. A huge school group was right in front of us so there were tons of kids going up-and-down the stairs. I was pretty nervous myself. And out of breath!
