Wyoming State Museum

Since the Capitol is closed, the State Museum has a more extensive Capitol exhibit.
This is another Capitol that was built and in use before they became a state.

They had a few movie tours of the building and they talked about the construction and the history.
It was almost like a tour.
But the photos did not do the building justice. We could tell once we watched the videos.
Nevertheless, this is what is available until 2019 when they reopen.
Some of the original tools used in construction were found.
Then we also got to enjoy all the other exhibits typical of state museums.
Of course, Ky found a horse to ride.
And they all had fun dressing up.
Sy loved the dinosaurs.
There was a national park section and surprisingly, Wyoming has quite a few national parks that we have not visited.
This is one I'd love to see, but it's too far for this trip - Devil's tower.

More dress up fun. They didn't get enough time before a field trip group came in the first time, so we came back.

Before leaving town, we visited the Wrangler to look at boots.
We loved the beautiful open sky
So long Wyoming.
