Sunday with Family and Friends - 6/12

We started our morning with grandma's french toast. Then we headed out to church at Onecho Christian Church. We enjoyed a service as a family with traditional hymns and contemporary "special music".
This is a view from the drive to church.
Lunch with the Heilsbergs & Grandma followed. Uncle Jim and Aunt Sandy brought meats and I helped grandma make a green salad (and used up all the veggies that were hanging out in the trailer fridge.) Conversation was pleasant despite turning political for a short time. (:
About 5pm, we took off to drive up to Spokane to meet up with one of Scott's college roommates and his family. We had a great time with the Bentons! Tim and Aurora are great hosts and fun to fellowship with and catch up on life and mutual friends. Their four girls were fun for our children to hang with - especially ky who is constantly surrounded by boys. (:
We had the opportunity to pull over in the middle of nowhere to offer help to a car in the side of the road at 11:30pm. But he didn't need help. He was there to scrape the huge dead porcupine off the road!
