Zoo & Park - 9/11

Madison has a free zoo and park near the Capitol, but not on the isthmus. We were happy to move our car out of the chaos. How interesting, to build your Capitol on an isthmus. 

We got to the zoo about an hour before closing so the animal houses were closed, but the outdoor exhibits were still available for viewing. 

Silly tiger just wouldn't look when I was ready. (:

Sometimes I feel like that old woman. Sy-ism, "what?!? Somebody lived I there?!?" Apparently he did not remember the nursery rhyme and was shocked that anyone would live in a shoe regardless of how many children they had.
