Jellystone Park! Yes, with Yogi Bear!

Look what we stumbled upon!
So thankful for the little treasures in the Passport America program. Today's was a Yogi Bear themed RV park!
We arrived shortly after 9 AM and checked in for a couple nights. Then our kids found out there are hourly activities, a "heated" pool, spa, and a chance to meet "the characters". (The waterpark is closed, but that's what happens after Labor Day.)
At 11am, the kids ran up to the ranger station for a hey ride (because you ride around yelling hey to all the other campers.)
There was one other family on the ride and we mostly yelled hey to workers who were doing maintenance jobs since the campground closes down after next weekend, but it was still fun.
And we got to ride with BooBoo.
(And this is made more fun by our kids lack of experience with characters.)

We checked out the store before returning to our campground and I realized I didn't have my wallet but I asked how much they were selling wood floor so I could send one of the boys to buy wood so we could roast hotdogs. But a couple minutes after we got back to our campsite, a man drove by asking if we would like to buy some wood from him because he was leaving and had brought more with than he needed.
So instead of buying a small bundle of wood for $6.50, we bought 9 big bundles of wood for $5 total!
Kik, Ky, & Sy participated in the coloring contest and Sy won.
There were only three participants. (:
We decided to go swimming
since the weather's going to cool off tomorrow.
While we were at the pool one of the owners came by and asked if we would like free sodas because she had some left and they're preparing to close down. She and I chatted a bit about other places to see in Wisconsin on our trip. She is from Pepin where Laura Ingalls Wilder had her first Little House in the Big Woods. At the end of our conversation, she said that we could do minigolf for free also. Feeling super blessed with all the free stuff.
It's took us a couple hours to get through 18 holes of minigolf.

While we were golfing, Yogi bear came out to greet us.
Unfortunately, about 10 seconds before he came out Sy got stung by a bee - on the bottom of his foot - while wearing sandals. Thankfully I got the stinger out right away and we got an ice pack on his foot and in 10 minutes he was golfing again.
But he did miss Yogi Bear. ):
We returned to our camper for dinner from the crockpot and on the way we met more neighbors. They are here from Alabama and the husband participated in the triathlon at the capital yesterday. They gave us some hints about places to see in Alabama when we get there.
Every day is full of surprises. I can't wait to find out what will happen tomorrow!
