today we enjoyed rest and a very short drive to get a Christmas tree. it was exciting to drive out "in the country" and take a hay ride out to choose a tree. after many trees, we all decided on the best one. each of the kids had the opportunity to saw at the base of the tree. grandpa & daddy put the tree into the hay wagon and we rode back to our car. with the tree safely on top of the van, we drove home to decorate.
