We made it to Georgia! ...last week

Home sweet home for the next month!

Reading by the fire,
great conversations around the table,
and Miracle on 34th St.
We cleaned out the trailer! It hasn't looked this good since it was new.
Then, we got to learn how to winterize it. Since the temperatures are below freezing, all the pipes/hoses have to be filled with antifreeze so that they're not damaged while the trailer sits in the low temperatures - something most SoCal trailer owners never have to deal with.
Hiking to the lake in the woods behind grandma's home.

All together, heading to the town Christmas parade.

All the floats were fun, handmade, and pulled by local trucks, wreckers, and even a tractor. Anybody could join the fun  and enter the parade for $35, so we saw numerous scout troops, schools, and small businesses. Almost every float had lots of kids waving excitedly and the adults accompanying them would chat with their friends who were watching as they came by.

After the parade, we got dinner (and dessert!) at the local steak'n'shake. Yum.
